Hi

ever since the update i can no longer search thru my previous blog posts - how can i access this pls? i can only view pending and not published blog posts like i could before, when i could just enter a keyword in the Blog Overview area.

thanks
Hello Nick,

Can you please let us know how are you searching for the blog post? I tried to access http://www.blatantlyblunt.com/grime/categories/grime.html but don't seem to see any search box.

Also, what was the search text that you have input and also a link to the post that contains such words

I'm not searching for a specific blog post but i want to be able to search for a post and see the most recent posts - this is what i was easily able to do before the switch. i have attached a screenshot of how i see it now, but before there was a menu option to view the posts recently published.It was a drop down to show pending, published, draft posts.

I've checked in your site, it seems like you have disable one of the menu item which allow user to access manage all the existing post.

You can check my attached screenshot below.

That page is located at this page -> http://www.blatantlyblunt.com/blog/dashboard/entries.html , is it this is the page you referring to?

hi

thats the page im referring to but i was wondering why the link to it is no longer accessible in the same way it was before.

When i copy the link it turns out like this
http://www.blatantlyblunt.com/blog/composer.html?tmpl=component&uid=12758.43908

I cannot share this link publicly - surely there is an easy way to get a shareable link once the post has been submitted?

I think i get what is your meaning now, do you mean when the user published a new blog post from your frontend, then the system redirect back to the composer page?

If yes, actually that was default behaviour in Easyblog 5.1, it will redirect back to the composer page once user publish the new/update blog post.

if you would like redirect user to this page http://www.blatantlyblunt.com/blog/dashboard/entries.html after published the blog post then have to add following code into this code file.
JoomlaFolder/components/com_easyblog/controllers/posts.php

if (!$this->app->isAdmin()) {
$redirect = EB::_('index.php?option=com_easyblog&view=dashboard&layout=entries');
}

You can refer on my attached screenshot below.

Hi

That's not what I'm saying - for example when i go to the 'entries' page, it shows me blog posts but not ones i can share - e.g. http://www.blatantlyblunt.com/blog/composer.html?tmpl=component&uid=12746.43923 instead of the shareable link which is http://www.blatantlyblunt.com/dancehall/alkaline-my-love.html

Before the new update I was able to share directly from dashboard which is what i need to do on a regular basis.

thanks

Hi Nick,
The link in the title actually routes the user to the latest revision id so they can edit it. You can get the proper post published link from the 'View' button which appears when you hover over the post data(https://www.screencast.com/t/FZ8cKuE8).
