Try download my attached file and see replace into JoomlaFolder/administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/post/post.php and see how it goes.

I am afraid those date i provided above was not valid anymore as currently we didn't made any release/update on EasyBlog as we are currently going to release the 'NEXT' big thing of EasyBlog that is EasyBlog 5.1.

By the way, this issues have been fixes internally, and maybe you can try to replace attached file at this path administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/post/post.php and see how it goes

yes thanks i have that file and have been copying it to several sites, its just a pain looking for it and the path everytime my tags arent saved, not sure why you couldnt apply the update to the current latest version would make my life easier ;-)

It will be included on our next release version and that version is on v5.0.45, and currently, Easyblog latest version are on v5.0.44 and if you made update/reinstall/upgrade, it will overwrite any changes made as those file are core files.
