New Posts - After Migration

So, is there anyway to make it so that the "new" tab doesn't say every post from the beginning of my site is "New" status?

Migrated the forums from Kunena to ED as I'm prepping for ED4 to come.

Added it in the Additional Site Details. Also, I have the "New" Tab disabled right now, but please let me know how you do this. I prefer to do these things myself so I learn a bit more about your programs.
