New post notifications

Hi,

I see that you have changed the template of the new post notifications that arrive by email to the subscribers. I want to know how I can eliminate the first two sentences: "There is a new blog post posted on the site" and "New blog post posted" because they appear in english and my subscribers are spanish.

Secondly the post appears complete in the email and that doesn't interest me, since I want the subscribers to enter my web to read it. How can I shorten it so that everything doesn't appear?

This is actually translated in the language file so you could edit the file /language/en-GB/en-GB.com_easyblog.ini and update the following strings accordingly,



COM_EASYBLOG_MAIL_TEMPLATE_NEW_POST_SUBHEADING="There is a new blog post published on the site"

COM_EASYBLOG_MAIL_TEMPLATE_NEW_POST_HEADING="New blog post posted"

Should you want to modify the e-mail template, you could always do this from the back end under Mail Activities -> E-mail Templates and click on the file as shown here, http://take.ms/liDb2

You may configure this under Settings > Notifications > Blogs and enable the option highlighted here, http://take.ms/Z3blG

Hello Monica,

You may edit it by accessing them through the FTP. Then, edit the file /language/en-GB/en-GB.com_easyblog.ini
