Hey Jerry,

Perhaps you can provide us with your following details so we can better have a check?

1. Joomla backend access
2. FTP access
3. Which header picture you referring? Can you provide us one of the page URL.
4. If can provide us some screenshot regarding this.

basically -

easyblog - new post.
i type something in and put my post together. however, i don't "add cover" at the top to put a "banner picture" on it.

when i "view" the article in joomla, i get

mountain graphic showing a pic *should* be here

rest of story now.

when i should be getting:

rest of story now.

there's the magnifying glass on this pic that will kick it out to like a photo album pop out, but again, no pic is placed there, but i have a "placeholder" taking up space looking like it's expecting something.

ok - i put up a "live" test article.

http://renegaderadio.net/index.php/social/easyblog/entry/stack-ideas-testing-article-please-ignore

i don't want a cover pic so i also don't want this huge gap sitting here forcing me to put a cover photo on it.

thanks! i'll remove article when done.

Hi Jerry,
Perhaps can you check this settings and see if it's disabled?
Settings>Layout>Post Options>Post>Show Post Image Placeholder
Disable it if it's not and see if this fixes your issue.

If the setting I mentioned does not work. Can you provide us your backend access so I can investigate the issue? Thanks.

set both Show Post Image and Show Post Image Placeholder to "no" and it made no difference.

also - this forum simply can't be read on a phone when you are "off hours" as your "pop up" takes up the entire screen on my LG V10. this is the one that says support is offline, open a ticket stuff.

for now i'll just know i have to put something there of 1/3 of my page is wasted placeholder space.
