Hi Guys,

I have a question. Will you continue change language strings' places in language files? I saw that, there are many new and removed strings in language files but not at the end of files, they are in different placeses in files. Please add new strings to ends of language files. Because its hard to find them to add in old files and translate them properly. Maybe changelog or something?

Also what is the tag " Should be removed when 1.2 stable is released" in com_es_site.ini ?
Hi,

Noted but sometimes we try to group language strings accordingly like for instance, a section on tops lists down all the menu item titles, when we add a new menu item, we tend to place them in the same group instead of appending it to the bottom.

hımm grouping them in the same place is a good idea. But it taked nearly 8 hours to prepare, only , com_easysocial_ini site file (findind missing sitrings and remove ex strings} without translation. So there are more then 40 language files...

Hello gökhan,

As you know, EasySocial is not just an "average" extension It's a very detailed and extensible in that sense so you need to look at the "comments" in the language file to really understand what all these language string means

"As you know, EasySocial is not just an "average" extension"

That is way I have choosed it and i have been working on it more then 5 months

1- You should have 100% accurate and ready translation, we can use it complacency

2-New language strings should be added end of the language file, its really hard to find inviidual strings added afterwards, through 2000 strings. That is what i pointed. and we can translate it easily
3- Maybe another way..

Anyway... I already have prepared all of them for the latest version, i dont know what will be do for next version

Hey guys,

I think that Gökhan means, that is really hard check the entire file on each update just to find if some new language string was added.

If it is added at the bottom is more easy to us check it and translate the new strings.

In my case, with this last update 1.2, it took me several hours/days checking all the language files for a translation.

Btw, this is not a complaint, it is just an observation. You guys do a brilliant job with all your extensions and support.

Regards,

Hey guys,

The sole reason why we use "Transifex" is so that you don't need to go through this mess Transifex would only tell you what language strings needs to be translated (Regardless if that is old or new). In 1.3 onwards, there will be less translations to do because we made a major change on how notifications and emails are translated so that we could achieve a true multi lingual site
