It's me again, I promise I won't have near as many questions soon!

Somehow, when I am logged in as an author, when I save the post, it is posting it to twitter & mailchimp then, and not at the publish date/time.
Reviewed the documentation. and have set the [Default Options > Default Publishing Status = Unpublished] & Send notification emails = No.

I do want the tweets and mailchimp campaigns to go, just want them to happen at publish time (otherwise everyone gets a login-screen)

Please advise.
Also, while I am here the "Image Wall" module description states:

Display random images from EasyBlog blog posts.

However, there is no option for "Random"

Only: Creation | Alphabetically | Popularity

If I use creation (descending), new articles quickly fall off and there are only 1 or two showing, (Need all 5 for the design to look right)

Could you check a while with your twitter & mailchimp and see got post something at there? And can you elaborate more on your issues here? Perhaps some screenshot. Please advise.

Best Regards

Sure -

If I create a blog post, and schedule it in the future, or
import one via cronfeed in an unpublished state

It sent an email via MailChimp and posted a Tweet.

Actions I have taken:
I have disabled MailChimp integration (it's ok to enable - sends to a test list)
I have changed the two options in EZBlog administration as noted above

The question
What are the appropriate settings so that there are no tweets or emails sent during the creation process, only when the article is published. Couldn't find in documentation, and want to make sure this is right as timing on my campaigns is critical.

Thanks!

Hello King,

I have done the pending post like you said, did not post to twitter.
http://screencast.com/t/w6JAtffDH

To schedule the blog post, what you should do is set the blog to 'publish' and set the publishing date to future date. EasyBlog will automatically mark the post under 'scheduled'. How EasyBlog turn these scheduled posts into 'published'? EasyBlog will wait for instruction from your server (cron) to publish any pending post which is due for publishing. This depends on the interval that you set on your cron to send the instruction.

Hope this help.

Thanks:)

Got it - have not had a repeat "incident" since changing the default status to = unpublished

How about my second question (Should I start another post)

Hello King,

I had install the latest wall module for you, download the attached file and upload it into /modules/mod_imagewall/
The hack will randomise your wall picture.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need further assistance and we might need FTP access to do it for you.

Thanks:)

Uploaded, but failed (Site would not load). Renamed to .failed and reinstated original helper.php.
There is no FTP access (no layer) but admin component that will allow access - site details in previous post.
