I had requested that notifications of new posts did not include an excerpt from the post as this defeats the object of encouraging them to visit the blog and read more posts.

You had informed me that this was taken care of and the problem solved. That appeared to be the case but when I published the latest post the old problem resurfaced.

We have actually added the settings to truncate the content of the blog's comment at your backend > easyblog > settings > notifications > comments > email settings, http://screencast.com/t/3G1fYwXjGQ and the settings by default is disabled so it won't affect other user's notification previously.

Try to enable the settings and see how it goes.
