Hi,

It has been brought to my attention by other users of one of my websites that they are no longer receiving new blog post notifications since the major easyblog upgrade.
Please check to see what the problem is.
Okay, thanks. I have asked my hosting company how to implement the cronjob.

Hi Shark,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply.

I just tried to subscribe to your site and the re-send email notification from your previous blog post and it seems like the email get generated correctly and ended up in my mailbox as you can see from my screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/puFDn8rS . Not really sure how to reproduce the issue here.

I can confirm that I got the Subscription email notification but there's either a long delay on New Blog email notifications being sent out or they are stuck in 'pending' status. Can you check?
Do I have to/Should I implement a cronjob?

Hey there,

I've checked in your mail activity from your Easyblog backend, it seems like first 10 mail already send out is because someone loaded your site Easyblog page, if you didn't setup a cronjob in your site, by default system will send out the emails when the user visit your Easyblog page.

Yes, it would be best if you can setup cronjob in your site, so it will every hour send out the email notification to your site subscribers.

If you need further assistance, can you provide us with your Cpanel access ?
