This tutorial is a little bit outdated, I think.

- There is "Add Platform" in Basic Settings. I should add my website there and nothing else, right?

- In Basic Settings there is also "Apps Domain" field. When I try to add my domain there, system always says "This must be derived from Canvas URL, Secure Canvas URL,...etc". What to do with it?

- "Do you want to make this app and all its live features available to the general public?" Should I also say "Yes" to this setting?

Thanks and best regards,

Hello Zafer,

Hm, not too sure which app creation are you at but are you trying to set this up to work with EasySocial? Once you entered your app name and namespace, you just need to set the following

1. App Domains ( Set this to your domain without the http:// prefix )

2. Website with Facebook Login (Set this to your website url with http:// prefix)

3. Sandbox mode disabled

That's all

Hello Mark,

I want to create a facebook application to work with EasySocial, to be precise a "Facebook login" application.

1. Please see attached screenshot. I got this warning from Facebook when I entered my URL. System doesnt save the domain name.

2. Application creation is a little bit different now in Facebook. Please see yourself. For example, there is no "Website with Facebook Login" setting any more. Instead, I think, there is a "Add Platform" setting. But not sure, therefore I asked.

There is no such a thing any more. Please try to create an application. You will see. Facebook renewed it.

Hello Adel,

Can you please start your own thread in EasyBlog instead? I believe you have a different set of issues altogether.
