Hi,

I know you guys expert in Joomla plugin and will have many advice in this case.
We need to start tracking more information about the actual usage of our site
The reporting I need to be able to access includes:

- user logins

- user session durations

- number of concurrent users (logged in)

- number of concurrent users (not logged in)

- number of total concurrent users

I would like to be able to access this information on an hourly daily, weekly and monthly basis so we can track changes in user engagement levels, and also to be able to see the data averaged (so we can see, for instance, what is our busiest hour of the day, averaged across all days).

Could you have any suggestion for us about an extension to do?
I am very appreciated with any piece of advice.

Pretty much every server has log parsers that will give you this info. There are fancier options but aw stats awstats.org is often installed by default by many webhosts. Ask them for the access info. If you are using cpanel or plesk there should be a link in your control panel. I would recommend parsing your logs instead of installing an extension because an extension will be adding overhead to your site.

Hello Cheryl,

To be honest with you, I have never came across such extensions but I am pretty sure you could find something similar from Joomla's Extension Directory at http://extensions.joomla.org
