Hi,

I have a travel site using Jreviews for business and tourist attraction listings. I have content creators that add the listings to the site.

For security reasons, I forbid Super Admin access on the front end using Akeeba Admin Tools.

Here is my problem:

I need to restrict the content creator accounts to the Author group. The Jreviews ACL only allows the Author group to edit their own listings. So when an Author adds a new hotel, for example, I approve it in the back end and re-assign the listing to the site admin. This way I avoid the possibility of a disgruntled employee destroying the site's content, since once I change ownership to admin, the Authors can no longer edit the listing.

Unfortunately, these Authors appear in the user list and the leaderboard. I need them to be anonymous users and not show up in the user lists nor the leaderboard and I need them to NOT earn points.

So what I am requesting is an ACL for the points system, the leaderboard and the user list.

I guess the easiest way to do this would be to have overrides in the profiles. That way I can create a profile for these Authors and there would be 3 options:

1) Show users in site member list YES/NO
2) Enable points system for these users YES/NO
3) Show these users on leaderboard YES/NO

Thanks for listening!
Nice idea you have there Steven and I think this is much clearer to us now that we should add additional "profile" settings functionality in the profiles.

3) Show these users on leaderboard YES/NO

Do you still plan to implement this feature ?
