Mini Registration always shows First Name first even I set Last Name--First Name in Profile type Custom Field Settings.

Are there any options to show "Last Name-First Name" in Mini Registration?
Hello Masanori,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Download the attached file and upload it into /media/com_easysocial/apps/fields/user/joomla_fullname/themes/default/

Mark,

Thank you.
First of all you do not need to say sorry because your reply is always very quick.

Thank you for the file, it works perfect:)
Let me make sure, how do we show user's name in "LastName-FirstName" format on frontend?
I've set the format in Profile Type>Custom Fields>Joomla Fullname but stream Items are shown in "FirstName-LastName" style....

Hi,

I appreciate it if you could test how name format works on the site attached.

ex. EasySocial stores "Last Name=Smith" and "First Name=John", then core Joomla! stores "John Smith".
Also Frontend side of EasySocial shows "John Smith".

Can we store and show "Smith John" format?
Registration needs admin approval and site details includes admin access info.

Hi,

Currently the name format for the field only affects the "input display" format, it does not change the format on the site.

While I can apply a hack for you to store it as Last Name + First Name, this will only affect new users.

Hi Jason,

Thank you.
I appreciate it if you could give me a hack file to me, I'm now constructing a site so no need to care existing users.
I've been using ES by single name format, but I need Facebook integrated registration on new site so I'm confronting this issue.

As far as I know, In Japan,China,Korea and Vietnam?, Hungary? , the first name follows the last name.....
So if you love those markets, I suppose you'd better have an option to display Last+First format

Best,

Hi,

I'm going to do you 1 better! I've discussed this with my colleagues and we do think that it makes sense that some sites want their names to appear as Last Name, First Name instead.

I'll add 1 new settings in the Full Name custom field to determine how should the structure be stored.

Hi Jason,

Thank you very very much for the consideration!

So you include that change on next release?
To be honest, I want that feature pretty soon...

Mark,
Jason,

Thank you for new release!
1.3.7 surely has the option for name format!!
One thing I must confirm to you.
Now no space between Last Name and First Name, regardless of store format.

I think you must place blank space between Last name and First name, because until 1.3.6, the behavior was that way, I believe!

Oh sorry about that. A minor typo in the codes.

Please replace the file I've uploaded @ /media/com_easysocial/apps/fields/user/joomla_fullname/

Hmmm...
I replaced joomla_fullname.php in /media/com_easysocial/apps/fields/user/joomla_fullname/

but names still don't have spaces...
