Lately, I got back into creating some documentation for the StackIdeas extensions I enjoy so much.

Yesterday, I opened a reply from Apson to a discussion post on EasyBlog and saw this:

Apson (StackIdeas Team Member) wrote:

Hello Randall,
After some discussions with the manager. The management decided to renew your subscription for you free in exchange of helping us with the documentation What do you think?
Please advise. Thank you.
Regards,
Apson Chom

My response:
Apson,
This is my way to express my sincere appreciation for the StackIdeas Team renewing my EasyBlog subscription.
As Mark would say, "More to come. More to come. I have an EasyBlog 3.9 video in the works...

Hope you like them both

Sébastien,

Yeh, Powtoons is a cool rapid animation tool for creating quick Attention Grabber or Explainer animations. I am using it to create my explainer animations for my sites.

I found this site last night, and think you might find it interesting: Easy Explain Video - lots of good examples.

Randall,
Is there an easy way to find all of your ES Guide postings all in one place? I would sure like to go through all of them.
I am needing some sort of Setting up EasySocial for dummies. :-)

Also, I am from BC myself and have been to Trail but it is a LONG time ago. In fact about 30 years ago, one of my favorite stories from my past is when I was in Trail passing through and was invited to go fishing. We were sitting in a spot and not catching any fish. A young guy came by with a heavy wet suit, flippers and snorkels and jumped into the water and swam around (that is some COLD water) and then he came back to tell us that we were fishing in the wrong spot. He pointed to another spot and told us to go there, which we all did right away, and lo and behold the fish were biting. He then changed into dry clothes and joined us fishing.

Sean,

The best way to find all the posted Tutorials is to go the the Tutorial subcategory of each Parent Category. I posted a number of discussion tutorials but do not have a master list created. I want to be able to do more Tutorials and one of the Tutorials on my list is Setting Up EasySocial, which is a huge part of my ChamberAnswers.com Project. http://chamberanswers.com - it's locked out to the public at this time.

Perhaps I can get you to register early when it is ready for some people to learn, and start following the Tutorials that I create. I am not quite ready to open it to the public yet, as I am awaiting EasySocial v1.1 to be finalized first. In the meanwhile, we could set up a Skype Session and I can step you through setting this up.

Trail my hometown. I was there until I was 26, worked at Cominco (Teck) for lamost 10 years and then moved to Vancouver to be a software entrepreneur. After 16 years in Vancouver, it was travel time and living in Europe and Mexico. Then back to Trail, but I would die on the vine there so I am in Calgary visiting now and will stay here most likely. The fishing is great in the Columbia, 20kms of the best fresh water Raindbow trout fishing in NA. 10,000 rainbow per km from the border to Castlegar. I pulled many a big rainbow out of Big Slough and Little Slough.

I can send you my skype via email ok. Then we can use TeamViewer peer to peer screensharing - http://teamviewer.com download TeamViewer and then we can arrange things. My schedule this week would be best on Thursday or Friday. I'll do what I can to help you get started.

Randall,

I can hardly believe what a great offer you are making to me. I would like to do this with you on Thursday evening or anytime on Thursday that you determine. Just let me know what time works for you. I can download a recent teamviewer app. Please let me know what time and what your skype id is. My skype address is srcarney

I am also looking forward to EasySocial 1.1 but really feel that getting a good stab at the set up with you now would be amazingly helpful. And, I would love to be one of your beta users for http://chamberanswers.com.

My plan has been to do something a bit unique which is to try to use a One Page Layout with Parallax to be the launching off page for everything on the community. I also have the same template copied for all the other pages that is NOT one page. You can see the template at http://starch-smart.cloudaccess.net which is where it will stay until I am ready to launch.

I also want to integrate a recipe software package into this site but that will wait. I want to use YouRecipe and they are supposed to be working to integrate with EasySocial as they have done previously with JomSocial.

Thanks again for your response.

I have been to Calgary many times. But, now I live in Texas so I am a time zone ahead of you. :-)

Randall, I received a message on skype that you were requesting my contact information which I approved right away. However, your profile still tells me that you have not authorized me to see your contact information. I will be hoping that comes through soon and then I will send you an email.
