Easy questions I hope.

1) Can you use multiple languages in EasyBlog for one site? Any limits?
2) Do you have to install the Joomla language packs as well or just the Easy Blog ones (for the EasyBlog component)?
3) Is there an EasyBlog language switcher or do you use the Joomla module?

Thanking you in advance.
Hello Anne,

Yeah, I guess it would be best to rely on Google Translate instead

Hello Anne,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Please find the response to your inquiries below:

1) Can you use multiple languages in EasyBlog for one site? Any limits?

Yes, you can submit your blog posts and choose a language to be associated with.

2) Do you have to install the Joomla language packs as well or just the Easy Blog ones (for the EasyBlog component)?

If you are going to have multi lingual site, you should install the language packs for Joomla as well.

3) Is there an EasyBlog language switcher or do you use the Joomla module?

EasyBlog's multi language posts relies on Joomla's native multi language system. You need to use the built in language switcher in Joomla

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. OK I may have to look at something different then. The site will be mainly English but I wanted to give those from other countries the option of the blogging component in their own language. The last time I did a multi-language site I used JoomFish and that ended up being a nightmare to manage. There is always Google Translate ...
