Multiple instances of the ED discuss plugin

Hi,

I got a general question about the discuss plugin. Since it can be specified to only one content category and one ED category, I would like to install it multiple times to make more variations possible.

1. Where can I find the plugin alone to install it independently from the component?
2. How to make a second install without overwriting the existing plugins?

Is this even possible?
hey Sabih,

Unfortunately that was not possible to show multiple same plugin appear on backend plugin manager when during install the same plugin with multiple times.

Hey Arlex,

thank you for your reply. I want to achieve that EasyBlog articles from category A go to EasyDiscuss category A and B to B and so on. Not all EasyBlog categories should go to EasyDiscuss category A. I need to think about it and hopefully find another solution.

Alright, thanks anyway Arlex. Maybe you should think about it because in case someone needs this, the only alternative is using Kunena instead of EasyDiscuss which leads to not being able to use EasyBlog neither, because the Kunena discuss plugin is not working with EasyBlog categories.

But it would be best if you can submit a feature request regarding this in our voice page -> http://stackideas.com/voices/easyblog , so everyone else could vote for it, the more people request on this, and we will priority consider it.

Because now all our developers focus on Easysocial 2.0, once we have done this, we will have focus on Easyblog 5.1.
