Multiple categories in Events

Hi all,

Just wondering if there is a way of assigning an event to multiple categories. More for the purpose of filters for users. For example you may have a running event, this is the main category, but you may want people to find this by looking in a category for families, or a category for fun runs etc.

I am not sure if I have missed something but if this is possible could you please advise?

Hi there,

The basic relationship between an event and a category is each event will only have one category and each category can have multiple events. To change this relationship, it would be a tremendous task as EasySocial would need to redefine new behavior.

Perhaps, it would be suited to have a suggestion/related event feature when viewing certain categories/events based on the event's tagging? So, events with the same tagging would be suggested to the user?
