Hi,

I would like to know if there is any way to call up the easyblog component/module into an article layout so that it displays full blogs under a certain tag / tags. So in other words the exact functionality of your mod_easybloglatestblogs but with the exception that it displays the actual blogs in full underneath each other for a given tag and not just the introtext.

So I would like to choose a maximum of say 3 of the latest blogs with given tags to display in full underneath one another without any readmore or links to get to those blogs.

Is there a reason why I can't get this to function?

Thanks.
I think this is a good idea and would have benfits with different filter options for tags there..

Hello Alan,

When you mean render the full blog post, are you referring to the way the blog is being rendered on the entry view with comments? It is not possible currently

However, if you are looking at rendering the entire content of the post, without any truncation, you could set the module options highlighted in the screen shot here, http://take.ms/wzZkm to 0 . This will ensure that the content is not truncated.

Hi Mark,

Yes I meant to have it render like the entry view but multiple entries according to tags selected.

I have already tried setting the truncation to 0 but it still truncates to about 350 characters regardless of being 0. And even if it did show the whole text I think it would be without the blogs pictures.

Is it difficult or too much to ask for this to be a feature in upcoming releases?

The reason I want this is because I don't want the site visitor to have to hop around different blogs under selected tags but rather have it all load the first time. Also when they have clicked to go to the blog then there is no way really to return to the list that was filtered to those tags.

Hi there,

It would be best if you can provide us with your backend and FTP access for further check on this issues.

Is it difficult or too much to ask for this to be a feature in upcoming releases?

It would be best if you can submit a feature request regarding this issues by creating a new ticket on the forums and set it to "Feature Request", so everyone else could vote for it, the more people request on this, and we will priority consider it.

Thanks for your understanding
