Hello,

I have a client of ours who was wondering how we can bring some Wordpress functionality into EasyBlog. The functionality I am referring to is multiple page blogging.

A lot of blog systems nowadays use a next/previous page per blog, and this particular client wants to have a 60 page tutorial/article (but be on one blog). Is this something we can currently do, without creating separate blog entries? If not, is this something we can expect to see in the future?

Please advise.

Thanks
Hello Chris,

This isn't possible currently but we could try to add this in the future version of EasyBlog. How does the next / previous blog link actually works? Does it just only contain a next / previous link in the blog post that determines the blog post is in a series?

Hello Mark,

This function is intended to act as one blog post, with individual pages. Let's say you want to make a blog with 20 pages, each having a different step or portion of your story.

This is useful in creating a tutorial in a blog post for example. If one wanted to make each page a step, and have users be able to navigate to pages; (such as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,...n) they can do so with Previous/Next links.

Does this help clarify?

Hello Chris,

Hm, in EasyBlog we actually have the page break plugin which allows you to split your blog post to multiple pages. Isn't this pretty similar to what you are looking for?

Hello Mark,

Yes this is the feature I was looking for. Joomla actually has this as well! Thanks.

I did notice, just to let you know that the versions (most recent 3-4) are broken downloads and bring you to an extension could not be found page.

Hm, do you mean the extensions or the plugin?

The page break plugin on this page:
http://stackideas.com/downloads/archives/plg_pagebreak_16

Every version after 3.7.1 are broken links, with this message:
"We are sorry, but the extension is invalid. Please contact support@stackideas.com "

Rene,

We normally do not delete anyone's post except for spam posts. However, this time we are making an exception and I am going to delete your post simply because you are not helping and you are not posting an issue at all. It's plain ranting on someone elses post.

This is our final warning to you and if you do want to rant again in the future, please create your own post.
