Hi,

I had to move a container with its sub-categories into another container.
The issue is that the sub-categories do not move with its container category.

In the admin listing, sub-categories stay in their previous order (not moved with its container main category), they display in the middle of listing.

On the front end same issue on the display/order.

You can check on my website in "ABRASIVES".
Check it in the admin and in the front-end open/close this category, you will understand...
Hello Supporter,

I have applied the fix inside your /administrator/components/com_easydiscuss/controllers/category.php and the ordering should work correctly now after each save. Please have a look

Hello Supporter,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

I've made some fix on your subcategories listing by re-define the parents of affected subcategories with the correct parents category it displaying correctly now after expanding. Refer screenshot below.

Hello Erzul,

It is not a "permanent" fix.
I need to move other categories and the subcategories are not moved accordingly.
I see the order column in the sql database only 5 categories have a number.

Quickly tested and it looks like you did it !

Is this fix singular to my site (will I have to apply a fix on updates) or will this be included in next releases ?
