Hello i have k2 articles and I need to move articles to easy blog / articles.

I have access to both.

I’m not completely sure if I need to use both.

Whats the difference and what’s the most effective way to use both together?
Hey Leo,

EasyBlog stores it's own posts within it's own tables whereas EasyArticles uses the data that is stored in Joomla articles. You can use the built-in migrator for K2 posts to migrate posts from K2 into EasyBlog.

As for EasyArticles, we don't have a migrator to migrate K2 items into Joomla articles yet but if there is already a 3rd party solution that allows migration from K2 to Joomla articles, you could use them.

As for the benefits, EasyBlog has greater blog controls as opposed to EasyArticles. EasyArticles only handles the composing of articles unlike EasyBlog where EasyBlog handles a lot more than composing of articles. It renders the articles and has tons of modules that you could use on your site

Ok, since I have both I will only use EasyBlog because it stores it's own posts within it's own tables.

Also could you make all the BULLY ARTICLES display on the home page on the blog they only show up after you click on the categories tab.

I think the demo look is a great start for my blog.

Hi Leo,

The screenshot that you've given above is actually layout magazine where you can create a menu for it.
I've helped you create the menu item http://take.ms/tobgx you can configure it in the menu setting

Hey Leo,

I have checked your site and it looks like you configured the menu to only render 1 item at max, http://take.ms/sAMhZ . I have configured it to 9 items and it is showing more posts now

Hi Leo,

Seems like you did not create menu item for EasyBlog frontpage yet, where by it is compulsory for Easyblog routing behave correctly.
And once you click the 'view all post' it will redirect to the frontpage (I've make the frontpage menu in your hidden menu)
Can you give it another try?
