Hi there,
I have checked my site with a seo tool and the tool is complaining that the blog URLs are using more than one canonical tag. I have check this and it seems to be true:

For example: https://www.gastware.de/blog-kassensysteme/tse-kasse

In HTML I see:
<link rel="canonical" href="https://www.gastware.de/blog-kassensysteme/tse-kasse">
AND
<link href="https://www.gastware.de/blog-kassensysteme/tse-kasse" rel="canonical" />

This problem is only affecting blog URLs - so how can I avoid it?

I found out that your current template JoomlaFolder/templates/unibox/index.php is the one that generates another canonical URL tag on the page.

So I've helped you add a fix to this index.php file so that it will not generate a canonical link for Easyblog pages, can you give it a check again?

In Easyblog, the system will generate a canonical link on the page.

Do you know which 3rd party SEO plugin have you installed recently? Perhaps you can try to disable it temporary and see the webpage if the canonical link still showing twice?

If yes, can you update your site backend and FTP access at your first post (you need to edit the first post and put the site details under the optional details area) so we can investigate this issue?

Hi,
as far as I know I dont have any external SEO Plugin enabled. The SEO tool is only complaining about the Blog URLs.

Feel free to have a look into, I have added admin access details to my first post.
