More "Input Formats" Custom Field "Datetime"

Hello,

at the moment there are just this 4 Input Formats of the custom field "Datetime":

DD/MM/YYYY
MM/DD/YYYY
YYYY/DD/MM
YYYY/MM/DD

How could I or you expand the "input formats" by the following tree more formats:

YYYY/MM
MM/YYYY
YYYY

Hey guys, any news on this? We would also like to have a "yearpicker".
We want our users to give is a piece of information about their first contact with a topic.

I have the same issue forcing me to use a textbox when I just needed the year for the custom field
