I need all post made in this category to show the modules on this page: http://protest.thenag.us/hurb-the-hurbz/entry/congratulations-you-have-successfully-installed-easyblog-1

This is a new post created in this category: http://protest.thenag.us/write-layout-dashboard/entry/hurbz/2014/03/05/testing-123

I've tried every option in the SEO and nothing works
Hello Maria,

Sorry for late reply to this,
May i know are you asking about Easydiscuss category or Easyblog category?
Also, do you mean that you would like to put a Easydiscuss category module/Easyblog category module in this page -> http://protest.thenag.us/hurb-the-hurbz/entry/congratulations-you-have-successfully-installed-easyblog-1
But the module doesn't show out in this page right?
If yes, is it possible provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this? Please advise.

May i ask which SEO option you configure from your end?

I need EasyBlog SEO to pull from the Category of each post so the modules inserted into Category pages will show on all posts in each Category

All modules on this page were inserted into the Category that I put on menu itemid-2861: http://protest.thenag.us/hurb-the-hurbz/entry/congratulations-you-have-successfully-installed-easyblog-1

I had to manually create this link in order to get the modules to show: index.php?option=com_easyblog&Itemid=2861&id=3&view=entry

I need all posts from this Category to produce URLs with the itemid of the Category itemid=2861

Hello Maria,

Don't worry that because you provided that credential details all is working.
Actually i have a little bit lost here, do you mean that you would like your all the blog post under this category ( HURB the HURBZ ) follow this URL format right?
-> index.php?option=com_easyblog&Itemid=2861&id=3&view=entry

May i know which blog category module can't show in this page? ( http://protest.thenag.us/hurb-the-hurbz/entry/congratulations-you-have-successfully-installed-easyblog-1 )
Because i have checked in your module manager, it seems like you have a lot of blog category module, so i'm not sure that which one is your specify to add in this page -> http://protest.thenag.us/hurb-the-hurbz/entry/congratulations-you-have-successfully-installed-easyblog-1
Please advise.

Hello Maria,

Please go to your module manager and select the module that you want to appear, then select the menu item in the menu assignment in which you want the module to appear.
Hope that helps.

Thanks:)

I've already did that but when I create new posts in that category the modules won't show because the URL path doesn't produce the correct itemid

Hello Maria,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. I have checked the site and it looks like MijoSEF is actually rewriting the URLs without respecting the Itemid that is set in EasyBlog Is there a way I can temporarily test this by disabling MijoSEF?

Hello Maria,

Sorry for late reply to this,
Hmm, I have a little bit lost here, because i just noticed that you provided us is your 2 Joomla administrator site credential, also is different category and blog post
Actually which one are you asking to?
http://thenag.us/administrator ( this site don't have this category -> HURB THE HURBZ )
http://protest.thenag.us/administrator ( this site have this category ->HURB THE HURBZ )

When i checked in this site ( http://protest.thenag.us/administrator ) Easyblog category page, it seems like this site existing this category -> HURB THE HURBZ, so i tried to create a blog post under this category -> HURB THE HURBZ, then i can see that new blog post is display on this "PROTEST'S BLOGS" module, please have a check this page :
http://protest.thenag.us/topics/hurb-the-hurbz
Please advise.

All sites are sharing menus, modules, files, and plugins through mightysites. I created a menu called "Protest" for http://protest.thenag.us/administrator

Located: http://protest.thenag.us/administrator/index.php?option=com_menus&view=items&menutype=protest

I have "HURB THE HURBZ" Category listed on itemid 2861

In order for all blog posts in this category to show the modules I need the URL to produce itemid=2861

Hello Maria,

I'm a bit confused as why do you need itemid=2861 to have the blog post to display the modules? Modules in Joomla will show up in the menu that the blog is displayed.
I look through your site, and you have a lot of menus and it's a bit confusing for me, could you direct me to the menu-item in which you created?

Thanks

I have "HURB THE HURBZ" Category listed on itemid 2861

The URLs need to produce the itemids from the menu items assigned to each category

Thanks for take your time to provided us with more details regarding this menu item.
Can i have the permission to disable the MijoSEF and cleanup all the Easyblog component SEF URL from MijoSEF in this admin site -> http://protest.thenag.us/administrator ?
So we can check what is that exactly the URL from Easyblog generate that URL in your site.

Hello Maria,

Sorry for late reply to this,
Thank for your patience in waiting our investigation,
I have disabled that MijoSQL component and cleanup all the Easyblog SEF URL from MijoSQL, it seems like when i click that category page, it show me this URL -> ( http://protest.thenag.us/educationz/dash-2/topic/categories ) ( http://screencast.com/t/iBYAyGBv2z )

Also, when i click this category "HURB THE HURBZ", it show the URL is ( http://protest.thenag.us/educationz/recent/controversies )
( http://screencast.com/t/GPgBmVenHb0 ) <- it doesn't show the category alias name.

May i know which menu item is point to -> educationz/dash-2 and educationz/recent/controversies

Because I have checked in this protest menu page -> http://protest.thenag.us/administrator/index.php?option=com_menus&view=items&menutype=protest
It seems like can't find out educationz/dash-2 and educationz/recent/controversies in this menu page

Also, can i know which menu item ( http://screencast.com/t/aRN8AYlrzc ) is access to EasyBlog frontpage when i access this site http://protest.thenag.us/ ?

I'm really sorry that keep asking about this, we will try our best to help you find out the solution.

I believe you're referring to this menu: http://protest.thenag.us/administrator/index.php?option=com_menus&view=items&menutype=easyblog

This is the original menu I created. I think the whole problem is that I can't choose which menu EasyBlog will use. It only wants to use the first menu I created. I have to trick it to use other menus through MijoSEF.

I can't tell where these menu items are coming from because I need to know the real URL and i can't find it in MijoSEF!

Hello Maria,

I have been checking your site but I am not really sure what you are trying to achieve here. You have so many menus that are linking to the same category

http://protest.thenag.us/administrator/index.php?option=com_menus&view=item&layout=edit&id=2861
http://protest.thenag.us/administrator/index.php?option=com_menus&view=item&layout=edit&id=1323
http://protest.thenag.us/administrator/index.php?option=com_menus&view=item&layout=edit&id=1365
http://protest.thenag.us/administrator/index.php?option=com_menus&view=item&layout=edit&id=1365
http://protest.thenag.us/administrator/index.php?option=com_menus&view=item&layout=edit&id=1486
http://protest.thenag.us/administrator/index.php?option=com_menus&view=item&layout=edit&id=1990
http://protest.thenag.us/administrator/index.php?option=com_menus&view=item&layout=edit&id=2034
http://protest.thenag.us/administrator/index.php?option=com_menus&view=item&layout=edit&id=2047
http://protest.thenag.us/administrator/index.php?option=com_menus&view=item&layout=edit&id=2073
http://protest.thenag.us/administrator/index.php?option=com_menus&view=item&layout=edit&id=2141
http://protest.thenag.us/administrator/index.php?option=com_menus&view=item&layout=edit&id=2182
http://protest.thenag.us/administrator/index.php?option=com_menus&view=item&layout=edit&id=2199

All the links above are linking to the same category called "HURB the HURZ". If you want to ensure that the link that is used for categories goes through /hurb-the-hurz/ , you should only have 1 menu item created which links to that category.

I fix the menu problem but now every time I click on the "Home" icon on the EasyBlog menu it produces the wrong menu item. It's supposed to go to the frontpage but it either goes to my blog or the category page... http://protest.thenag.us/topics

Hello Maria,

It was your mijosef component that was redirecting the page. I had fix the url and to go to frontpage now instead of the categories.

Thanks:)
