I am now able to reproduce the issue on my local instance and have logged the issue in our internal tracker so it can be fixed.

In the meantime, I have attached 2 files below as a temporary fix for the issue that you are facing. Please apply them into the following directories(backup original file) and see how it goes.

Remember to rename the attached files to horizontal.php

JoomlaFolder/modules/mod_easysocial_events/tmpl/horizontal.php
JoomlaFolder/modules/mod_easysocial_groups/tmpl/horizontal.php
