Yep, there's a handful of module positions in EasySocial You can find them at http://docs.stackideas.com/administrators/module_positions/module_positions

is there a special way of getting to these? They don't show up for me when I look through possible module positions.

Ah, this is actually a default behavior in Joomla and I think they need to alter the Usability for this textbox. You need to manually type the position in because Joomla doesn't know of such positions.

If you want to see the demo in action, go to http://demos.techjoomla.com/easysocial , login using one of the users & go to More Products > EasySocial .. you should see them in use there.
