Hi,

I'm trying to create a module override for mod_easysocial_dropdown_menu.

I copied the /modules/mod_easysocial_dropdown_menu to /templates/my_templates/html/mod_easysocial_dropdown_menu

But it does not seem to work.

What am I doing wrong ..?

G
Hey Graeme,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. You need to copy the theme files and not the entire module. In this case, /modules/mod_easysocial_dropdown_menu/tmpl/default.php into /templates/my_templates/html/mod_easysocial_dropdown_menu

You cannot override the module file, only the theme files of a module. This is the standard behavior of Joomla
