On the frontpage of a website there´s published the module Latest Blogs" In Version 3.9 there was a field to change the routing behavior (e.g. menu item). In 5.0.19 ther´s no function like this? Example: http://62.134.42.110/

Found even these two postings (older ones):
http://stackideas.com/forums/easyblog-latest-blogs-module-is-ignoring-routing-behavior-and-use-menu-item

Hey Martin,

In EasyBlog 3.9, we did indeed add a routing behavior for modules but this actually has a very very bad side effect for user's who are unsure of what they are doing. Google is actually penalizing your site because of duplicate urls and the reason is simply because of misconfiguration / incorrect routing behavior configuration. It's like providing you with a gun and ask you to use it

In EasyBlog 5, we standardized this behavior by enforcing all urls to behave in a default manner. To fix this, I have removed the previous settings which is "Use menu id from current menu item" . If you want it to be routed differently, you can just create hidden menu items for your categories (Since they are routed by category by default)

Hope this makes sense to you.

Hi Martin,

Can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can check on the issue directly?

Hi Mark,

this make sense to me - indeed. But i´m a bit unsure how to make the hidden menu. At least, there is already a hidden menu. Can you make an entry there, so i can see it :-) ?
Note: In the module the lastest blog of all categories should be shown ...
Thank you!

Ok, Mark. I´ve tried several configurations, but now it works.
Workaround is ok for me.

Thank you for your precious time!
