Hi guys! It would be fantastic to have a module displaying particular group stream.
The purpose: Groups can be represented by separate joomla page. Publishing updates in group is quite easy for users on other hand. Combining this module with a regular joomla page will deliver fresh and related to the topic content.
I miss this functionality v. much.
BTW JSocial doesn't have such module either.
Hello Witold,

Brilliant idea! Does this mean the admin get's to choose which group stream he wants to display?

Yes, right. I think this module should contain also option "ignore privacy settings" in case admin wants to display a stream of private group.
The effect will be following: if group is private and this module displays stream of private group (ignoring privacy settings) the only place to see what's on is this module.
By clicking particular link in activity stream user should be moved to "request invitation" screen of this group and should have an ability to request such invitation.

good idea, the overrule privacy option should also be added when you add a joomla menu link to a group. that way the invite-only group content could be displayed to the public then.
