Actually I am not quite sure I understand you here, do you mean you using Easyblog migrator import Joomla article into Easyblog? Then you would like to modify the category for those imported post right?

If yes, you can edit the post from backend > Easyblog > post > select one of the post > modify the category selection from the right panel, you can refer on my attached screenshot below.
