Hi

We would like to use the login link (lock icon) on the ES toolbar module, instead of the Joomla connection link.

It works fine, but we would like to change the redirection after the connection (to go the a Joomla homemade dashboard URL). Is it possible?
Is it also possible to modify the module dropdown (we wouldn't like to see the possibility to register, or ask the username or password, as our users are links to our AD)?

Thanks for your response
Hello Mizael,

You can configure EasySocial to redirect the user to a specific menu in the settings as you can see here, https://take.ms/GsLnq

As for the dropdown menu module, I am not entirely sure if I understand you here. In this module, if the user is not logged in, it will already display the login form. Am I missing anything here?

Thank you very much Mark for your quick response, it works perfectly, and sorry for the inconvenience, it was obvious to find (I had searched though!)...

For the connection module, I was certainly not very clear, as English is not my native language.

A picture is worth a thousand words, here is what we would like to have only (see attachment): only the possibility for the user to log-in (no registering [EDIT: it's OK, I have found how to suppress it on users registration parameters], no asking a reminder for username or password).

For the Joomla user login, we can do it: override com_users/login (and delete the lines we don't want) in the template manager.

Hello Mizael,

If you want to tweak the toolbar, you could create a template override for the file /components/com_easysocial/themes/wireframe/toolbar/default.php

You can make the necessary changes to the login dropdown

Thank very much for your help and providing the file for template override.
However there's no folders in the template override page for ES. I will try with the login file (or override it manually via FTP).

Hello Mizael,

Thanks for updating, glad that your issue is resolved now. Let me know if you still need help on this.

By the way, just for your information, you could also edit it from the back-end of EasySocial and it will create the necessary overrides for you.

Hi Mark

Thanks for the last tip (editing from the back-end of EasySocial), but I was not able to find the place for that. Could you help me finding it?

Hello Mizael,

You can access it at Themes > Wireframe (Click on the Edit Files button) > search for your file.
