hi,

has anyone an idea how I can change the community login ... so that it is displayed in a row with a register-button - like the easysocial login modul.

please let me know how i can change it....... Unfortunately I have no idea of the code where "what where when how"

Kind regards
Hello Jens,

I am sorry but I don't really get you here. Can you please provide us with the full screen shot and what you are trying to achieve here?

hi mark,

sorry for my sreen...i will try to be precise and hope you understand my rest a little bit better with the new sreen. i´m of the opinion that i can not deactivate the community login and use only the easysocial login modul horizontal. or i´m wrong?? and therefore I would like to edit the community login that it is aligned horizontally....even like the easysocial modul.

please follow the url and take a look ....thx

i hope it is a little bit precise now :-)

kind regards
jens

hey jens,
from your description it sounds as you actually only want to display the module but as you think that this is not possible you want to style the login page the same way, correct?!

if so there's a good news: you don't need to do that just go to your joomla menu manager and select the menu item linking to your current login page. there you have a native joomla option called "page class". in there enter " hidden" (with a space in front of the word, but of course without the surrounding " - this I just added to show the space).

what this will do is that it will hide the content of your component (in this case the easysocial login box) but it will still display your assigned modules, so that should absolutely do the trick.

hope that helps

hi alex, you are right...that´s it what i want :-)

i was looking in the menu manager....found "seitenklasse" - hoping this is the page class that you means.....and...i´m sorry....no login box hidden. sh....

can i give you here the sitedetails for the backend so that you can take a look?

yeah, that's exactly where you have to enter it, and that should work absolutely fine. try to clear your cache (joomla and browser) and see if this changes things because the method definately works as you can see here: http://screencast.com/t/Ie94zOn2dHxp

unfortunately only mark and the team can see your site details here (which is of course a good thing in terms of security/privacy) but therefore I can't login to your backend and do it for you.

if after the cache cleaning it still doesn't work then you can always add the following code to your template's custom css file, as a workaround (but the other option is standard and keeping standards would be much better):

.es-login-box {
display: none;
}

hope that helps
