Hi,

I would like to modify the EasySocial Registration Form by:

1) Reducing the number of mandatory fields, and/or
2) Removing some of the fields entirely.

How do I do this?

TIA - Jeff.
You need to go to your easysocial backend:

Profiles---> Register Users--->Custom Fields

from there, you can add or delete any field you like

Excellent checksum. Thank you. I will fiddle around with it, and get back to you if I have any problems.

I would like to remove the mandatory field "Cover", but it won't let me. Why is it mandatory to have a cover image? My users don't need it. Thanks for any help!

Hello Brett Buchanan,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.
Do you mean that you would like to remove the mandatory field profile "Cover" ? check my screenshot below.
If not, can you provide some screenshot which field "cover" are you referring to? Please advise.

hey brett,
currently you can't delete this field entirely as it's a mandatory field. we might change this in the future but for now it's not possible.

a way around of showing this field in general would be this: put the cover field onto a tab of it's own and then hide the whole tab. you can do this by clicking on the tab name and then set all the "appear" options to NO, like shown here: http://screencast.com/t/mcbokfEHcZ

hope that helps and have a nice day
