Scerniao - admin of a page updates about or changes privacy of page.
Page now disappears and notification lands on 420 error, admin wounders where their page has gone.
Site admin has to accept change like new page request.
Surely once a page or group has been accepted any changes should be accepted automatically

Do you mean that once the page/group has been approved but when the owner of it edits it, it will be sent for approval again and the page/group will be missing during moderation?

If yes, it is a correct behavior.

The reason that we are doing this is because imagine if the owner simply edits and add something into the page/group without moderation, it will not nice to be seen.

Example: once the user A's page with good title and description has been moderated, the user A will take this opportunity to do something on his page such as advertising, promoting or something else without your knowledge since there is no moderation is needed.

So this is why when the page/group is edited, it has to be moderated after editing.

I see why you have it set to moderate even updates to pages/groups under moderation.

But this causes a lot of issues and complaints as members say once we have accepted the page/group changes should be auto accepted.

Perhaps than the page or group should stay active during change/update and once we accept the change it makes the update to the page/group,so page/group members don't think the page/group has been removed

Perhaps it would be best if you can submit a feature request regarding this issues by creating a new ticket here. We will prioritize this feature during the development process for the next major version of EasySocial if there are more people request on this.
