Is it possible to edit the privacy of a user status or edit his status from front end? Also would be much easier if admin had access to all user settings from front end
When you say user settings, do you mean for that profile? Just like this?

Hi Alex,

Currently the only way for admin to alter the settings of the user is through easysocial backend > users > select user and edit it.

Thanks for the help Josh.

I know this... but there are a lot of settings missing, i can't view users albums to delete a photo. Also can you please consider making it possible to edit user story posts by admin in front end?

Hi Alex,

You can use your site admin account to view user's photo from frontend and delete it from the option here, http://screencast.com/t/icngxi8W6oVb .

Also can you please consider making it possible to edit user story posts by admin in front end?

By right admin should be able to edit user's post from frontend. Refer my screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/VOEqPPL73 .

I'm guessing this may be implemented in ES 2.1 as seen here: http://stackideas.com/roadmap/easysocial?milestone=2.1
The feature is called "Extended stream management" which could apply to frontend or backend.

Hi guys,

You can try to download my attachment here and place it inside /components/com_easysocial/themes/wireframe/privacy/ folder and see how it goes.

Hi Alex,

You are most welcome. What I did is just a rough modification to allow admin to change the privacy of user's stream. You might want to keep the file for future update of easysocial as we do not have any plan to implement this feature anytime soon.

By the way should i expect any other changes or only this? (edit privacy of a stream)

I am sorry but I am not able to give the answer here for now . Hope you understand.

i meant about the file you attached here, does it change anything else or only this privacy?

Also how to add all previously registered users to a specific group i made on the site frontend (not usergroup for permissions)
I asked that before but someone told me to select all user and press assign group, this just assigns usergroup

Hi Alex,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it weekend for all of us here.

i meant about the file you attached here, does it change anything else or only this privacy?

Ah I see. I am sorry for the misunderstanding earlier. The attached file will only change the privacy options and not affecting other things on easysocial.

Also how to add all previously registered users to a specific group i made on the site frontend (not usergroup for permissions)
I asked that before but someone told me to select all user and press assign group, this just assigns usergroup

You need to access the group from backend and then go to the members tab and click on "add member" as you can see from my screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/E3gz4noh .
