Hi Mark & Team,

A little suggestion with the Mobile Web Template, I see that the latest version has more options now and is has this Render Joomla Menu. It is nice to have, thanks for adding that, but would you consider:

- rendering the Joomla Menu in the Menu section instead of Home?

Currently, in my setup, I created menu items of ES and if I enable Render Joomla Menu I now have two menus of the same. If you are thinking of rendering non ES menu items I would say that doesn't make sense, you are covering too much for this template. If you're to ask me, this template should only support ES or any of your products and therefore should only be StackIdeas product friendly. Else the template will be busy where it is already with just ES alone. Just my two cents about the template.

Oh, if may add the template name is "esmobile" so shouldn't it only supports EasySocial?

Thanks,

Jackson
Yes, previously we actually plan it for only priority support with Easysocial so we named it as 'esmobile', and the initial app didn't render the Joomla menu that is why we added those Easysocial menu link into right corner menu bar.

By the way, thanks for your input, we will see what we can do in the future version.

Hi Arlex,

Maybe it's a good idea to create templates for EasyBlog (ebmobile), EasyDiscuss (edmobile)? Personally, I would do that as a developer and I would buy it as web admin.

Anyhow, just a suggestion.

But thanks for creating the template, I will have to hack it to work on our site though.

By the way, check how the mobile template renders when Converse Kit is installed. You see the Converse Kit icon? Don't you think, it should not appear in esmobile? Why? You already have the footer button for Conversation, having the Converse Kit icon floating at the bottom is redundant and annoying in a small screen.

Thanks,

Jackson

Hey there,

to be honest, when the template released I thought there would be add-ons for several other components later, even third party like JReviews or Hikashop. I think this might be a good way for you to earn some cash by having add-ons for the templates to expand it for more components. I think this is a big potential waiting and no one is there to fulfill this need.

Hm, if I recall correctly, if you using latest web mobile template + latest version of Easysocial + latest version of Conversekit, it shouldn't show the Conversekit icon at the bottom, that "Conversation button" will replace to use conversekit, when you click on "Conversation" button at the bottom, it will show the Conversekit chat.

By the way, thanks for your suggestion.

Thanks for your suggestion, but that is actually not quite easy to manage to support more 3rd party extension is because we need to keep trace any new release from their 3rd party extension and see whether got modify or add some new layout from their extension, so we need to override into our template override file as well, if not all the styling it might messed up in mobile layout.

The current main goal is make web mobile template to support all our existing product layout.

Got it! I just upgraded to the latest mobile template and it is gone.

Thanks,
