Hello,

I think this Mobile Web Template is very good, but it needs some improvements, including a better integration of EasyDiscuss and EasyBlog. See in attachements.

Navigation is not always well suited to small screens.
EasyBlog is better on this point, with full screen popup. Probably because its development is newer, and it matches your new standards, EasyDiscuss 4.1 will probably inherit them.

A pesky detail with EasyBlog and the Mobile Web Template, is that it lacks the margin on the sides of the articles.
The characters are at the extreme limit of the border of the screen.
And the gray background is not very suitable for reading an article.

The bottom menu seems too impressive. It takes up too much space in a small screen.
Ideally it should be as fine as the top menu.

Finally, I find it unfortunate that the menu is invisible to the user who is not connected. The casual visitor is unable to navigate the site.
Instead we have only a padlock icon to log in or register.
For no connected visitors, it would be better for us to have the same menu but with only: Photos, Videos, Groups, Pages, Events, Blog and Discussions.

But rest assured, I find this Mobile Web Template very excellent !
Very well designed, lightweight and fluid.

But I would like it to know some updates... What are your projects ?

Thank you
Philippe
I will log these issue our issue tracker.

But regarding this, you can actually render your custom simple menu on the left corner menu icon, you can check my attached screenshot below, so those guest user can able to access another pages based on that menu.

By the way, thanks for your input and suggestion

I love the Mobile Template.
And believe that it is one of the best/most important things SI ever made.
But there are dozens of tiny little formatting details that could do with some TLC!!!

You have the choice of not offering a Native mobile app, so I expect you to offer us a great alternative.
But you are on the right track

I have not been able to replicate the same menu. How to do ?

Even if this solution does not seem to me ideal.
It would be better to have the same menu at the top right for everyone, connected or not.

Thank you

Perhaps you can update your Joomla backend and FTP access at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so we can better have a look your current menu structure?

By the way, thanks for head up on this Paul

Hey Arlex,

could you provide the default settings which are necessary to display that menu? I have never seen this before and it looks very interesting.

Hey Guys,

To enable a Joomla menu on the mobile template, you could edit the "System - EasySocial Mobile" plugin and enable the options highlighted here, http://take.ms/v7KBw

Hi Mark,

thank you for making this clear. By the way, the plugin ignores if you got a menu option to be not displayed inside the menu. But this does not matter since it is possible to make a new menu especially for the plugin.

Hm yeah I think this is a new Joomla 3.7.x feature eh? To be able to hide the menu item. Will log a ticket for this internally.

THank you Mark.

But ultimately, the Joomla menu (at left) and the Web Template menu (at right) are duplicates.

I would like to:
- Either be able to disable certain icons of the Mobile Web Template Menu (at right) and keep only what concerns the connected user (Friends, Achivements, Points, Edit Profil and Logout)
- Either be able to replace the padlock of the web template menu (at right) with a light menu for those who are not connected

Why would it be a duplicate? If you want to render your own menus in Joomla, then you would use the left icon. The menus on the right icons are fixed and we cannot render menus in that screen because you cannot define icon types in your menu manager.

Joomla Menu must be there, otherwise the user not connected can not navigate on the site.
But when the user is logged in, he finds himself with two menus that are duplicates
So the Joomla Menu items are duplicated with the Web Template Menu items (see attachments).

Rather than having two menus, the ideal would be to have a single unified Menu.
With a version for unconnected users, and an enhanced version for connected users (or maybe full menu if we want)
Please see in attachments.

It makes sense, is not it ?

Joomla menu's doesn't allow you to add icons so it's not going to make it into the menus with icons.

Open the index.php in your mobile template and edit the links or remove the whole menu to have no "duplicate" but one menu. The top left menu will show items depending on your Joomla settings if public or registered.

This is not true.
Joomla accepts icons in the menu !

For me an icon is a small image

Thank you for your help Sabih.
However I am unable to determine what portion of code corresponding to Zone 1 of the picture, I have to remove in index.php.
And then what portion of code corresponding to Zone 2, I have to copy and paste in index.php

Thank you help me please.

See attachment.

We are using font icons to render the menu and not images. To be exact, font icons from Font awesome. Here's one sample of the font codes,
