The speed of the app to load a content is mostly caused by the process of retrieving the data from the server. However, the way of how we processing the data also has a bit of impact to the speed but not much. We will definitely improve the processing part from time to time to at least speed up the app loading time.

It takes about 10 seconds to load my feed, and in mobile time it is years haha

Both server and processing part has contributed to the speed issue of the app. Do you use the same internet connection as desktop on mobile?

Yes, even we I'm using a very fast Wifi, the app is really really slow.
You can try it yourself, our app is public in the stores (FaeNet).

We have tested your app using iOS device and we noticed the retrieving of data quite fast however the part where it try to load an image are noticeably slow compared to Android. We are trying to figure out the cause of this issue.
