Where to translate this "string" - I added it in the easysocial language file but it will not be translated...

It is shown if you are going to share a photo album of an event.... (from stream activity)
The translation issue occurs because:

1. At the time you were trying to share, the language string isn't translated.
2. After noticing this issue, you translated the content.

What you are missing is the following steps:

3. Because Facebook cache all urls that are shared on their site, these untranslated strings are also cached.
4. You need to follow the steps below to purge their cache

Purging cache on Facebook
1. Head on to http://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug
2. Enter the url that you were trying to share
3. Click on the "Scrape again" button to purge the cache

If you have updated the translations, you might want to enter the url under Facebook debugger tool to purge the cache.

1. Head on to http://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug
2. Enter the url that you were trying to share
3. Click on the "Scrape again" button to purge the cache

Hi Mark,

thanks for your support. May be I need another hint from your side....I would like to share a photo album from activity stream. After clicking "social sharing" a new pop up appears with all possibilities to share. Then I choose e.g. Facebook....the translation issue occurs....and I do not know the link I have to use for your link mentioned above....

Hopefully I could explain it right

Hi Mark,

thanks for your patience....

My current "personal issue" is that I do not know what the link is I want to share. Where can I see the link of this social share from the activity stream?

Thanks a lot!

Click on the timestamp "xxx seconds ago" and you are actually sharing that particular stream item
