May i know when you added those translations? Is it after those notifications received or before? or maybe that notifications is for singular not plural according to your language string. It should works as it should and should shown those language overridden on your site. Maybe you can try to like it again and see how it goes.

just checked again - it's the PLURAL what is missing. I added the missing string in both - the language file and the overriding file. Both variants does not show any effect if there are variable included, e.g.

{b}%1$s{/b} gefallen Deine Fotos veröffentlicht in {b}%2$s{/b}

If there is only "gefallen Deine Fotos veröffentlicht in" set it Works fine without usernames and the place where the photos are published.

thanks for your feedback. I just wanred to check for my user account "all notifications" but there seems to ne an issue. The page is not there, an error message "call to a memner function....." is shown...
