I think in communities content creators should not get points on simple adding something as this does not represent the quality.
I'd prefer adding rules to get points on Likes for content. E.g. 10 people like my photo, I should get 10 points instead of basically a number of points for a boring one. Also if I add a poll the interaction is very different on topics. It would be more interesting to give users points for their polls according to the activity. So easily on every vote.
SOME rules have this for the owners e.g. photo and video owners, but not on all topics. Please add these as they highly make sense and attract communities.
