Perhaps you can try to check your site current template whether got create any template override for Easysocial email content in previously? if yes, can you try temporary rename it and see how it goes?

Because we did updated those language constant in Easysocial 2.1.

By right, it should use this :

COM_ES_EMAILS_REGISTRATION_THANK_YOU_FOR_REGISTERING

COM_ES_EMAILS_REGISTRATION_ACTIVATION_ALTERNATIVE

I would not know where to look where the override is placed.

I cannot replicate the issue on your site. Tried registering as a new user and the email is translated properly(http://take.ms/VCuxu).

Am I missing something here? Maybe you can test again with new registration?

The activation email is not affected. It concerns the e-mail that I trigger in the backend as a reminder to members who have not completed the activation. In the english language file I have saved the missing language strings as a solution until the cause for the problem is found. see screenshot.

I can replicate the issue now since you mentioned manually triggering the activation email from the users listing.

I will log this in our tracker so it can be addressed.
