Going into a group and disabling the marketplace, then clicking on the link in the group toolbar where the marketplace still exists

I'm still unable to replicate this. Disabling the global marketplace setting, the marketplace menu should not have appeared to you at all. Or am I misunderstand your issue?

Perhaps, you can provide us any related screenshots/video screenshots so we can understand this issue better.

it happens when you disable the marketplace in the group settings, not the global settings
