(Missing) Consistency accross components

Hi,

I would like to see more consistency accross all SI components.

- toolbar icons (eg: notification is a bell in ED but is a globe in ES)

- BB Code editor (why isn't the BBCode editor of ES Discussions Apps the same as the one from ED he?) isn't there a way to have one common BBcode editor instead of installing one different editor in each component?

- Emoticons / Emojis these should have a common library to be displayed correctly across the component integrations (don't know if the term library is correct but you get the idea...)

- MEDIA MANAGER mainly missing in EasyDiscuss, as this would take ED to a new level and UX at the top! External embed + media manager

- Toolbars & Menus when viewing on Tablets / Phones, When you have all SI components installed in 1 site this is not nice at all and not professional ! Again consistency is needed.

the media management in easydiscuss should get a drag & drop feature

I think this is the most confusing issue for users that use more than one of Stackideas product and that is how to distinguis between them if you have several working together.

For example EasyBlog and EasySocials different toolbar and EasyDiscuss. And then on top of that comes the user bar!

So it would be good to have some text ie Global more Bold with icons and maybe background colour or beginning of toolbar with icon, some different colour for each toolbars, or different hight etc

I am sorry but I do not agree with your post, I believe YOU are complicating the user experience by stacking too many toolbars.
A better option would be a special toolbar for customers using more than 1 SI component.
A new toolbar redesigned with appropriate multi-menu and specific targeted icons.
I have a good Idea in mind, I'll try to make a sketch of it and then post it here as soon as possible.

The idea is to access all media you uploaded on the site (ES,ED,EB even Komento if possilbe?) with a common media manager.
If EasyBlog's Media Manager was implemented in ED this would already be a wonderful start...
drag and drop... yes of course! UI at its best...

good points. also goes in hand with what I was saying about EasySocial being better integrated with EasyDiscuss. Everything in ES should be shareable in ED. Photos, Videos, Events. Currently it is easier to share stuff to other sites than on your own ED forum.
