Hi keld,

Are you referring to link sharing in EasySocial(http://take.ms/ayo2C)? If that's the case, it actually depends on whether the shared link has an og:image tag.

I will explain below why those links are not working on your site:
http://www.dr.dk - for some reason, you need to share the https version. og:image tag available, but its not an absolute link(http://take.ms/UrPnb) so the image cannot load. This issue has to be addressed by that site.

http://www.tv2.dk - og:image not available(http://take.ms/1pAgFD).

http://www.eb.dk - need to share https version(http://take.ms/LXgvK)

http://www.bt.dk - og:image not available(http://take.ms/Injx5)

Currently that is no setting to allow admin to set placeholder image for the link preview.

But you can download my attached file and replace into this following file location.

JoomlaFolder/administrator/components/com_easysocial/includes/crawler/hooks/opengraph.php

Then put your placeholder image under this file directory path -> JoomlaFolder/images/placeholder-image.png , the image name and the extension name also have to be the same.

So system will detect if those link page doesn't have provide opengraph data for image, it will use your placeholder image.
