I have set up my server to start migration to Amazon S3.
The cron task has ran 3 times so far.
I see success messages:
[{"status":"200","contents":"Emails dispatched successfully","time":"2016-01-04 20:12:32"},{"status":"200","contents":"No cached images to upload to remote storage","time":"2016-01-04 20:12:32"},{"status":"200","contents":"No photos to upload to remote storage","time":"2016-01-04 20:12:32"},
{"status":"200","contents":"50 avatars uploaded to remote storage","time":"2016-01-04 20:12:32"},

{"status":"200","contents":"Nothing to process for files","time":"2016-01-04 20:12:32"},{"status":"200","contents":"Stream items archived successfully","time":"2016-01-04 20:12:32"}]

I do not see a bucket or files on the S3 Console. How can I verify that this is happening correctly?
You can actually view the site and see if these avatars are already rendered using Amazon S3. However, when you view the bucket on Amazon's console, you should be able to see these folders . Have you tried refreshing Amazon's console?

I could help you to verify your settings at the back end but the login credentials which you have provided isn't working

Updated again - Triple Checked.
No change to S3 dashboard (only a log folder).
I left blank to have it create one for me.
There are 7,000+ avatars - how would I know which ones are being hosted at AWS?

Tried removing settings, using my key, now getting this error:
Error retrieving credentials from the instance profile metadata server. When you are not running inside of Amazon EC2, you must provide your AWS access key ID and secret access key in the "key" and "secret" options when creating a client or provide an instantiated Aws\Common\Credentials\CredentialsInterface object. Hey there,

Try to create a bucket on S3 console and set the bucket name in the settings. Then try it again.

Created new key, created new bucket, settings saved, when I flipped over to S3 storage, got this new error:
[CURL] 6: COULD NOT RESOLVE HOST: YMO-OBJ.S3.US.AMAZONAWS.COM [URL] HTTPS://YMO-OBJ.S3.US.AMAZONAWS.COM/MEDIA/COM_EASYSOCIAL/AVATARS/USERS/377/A93B75476CEFC4A1B883D92

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply,

Can I have the permission to turn on your remote storage from local server to Amazon and test upload to Amazon?

Also is it possible provide us with your FTP access so we can troubleshoot on this?

By the way, I've tried to access one of your site avatar URL ( https://youmustobey.com/media/com_easysocial/avatars/users/2328/ed7c6b5850d342a0b69a0dce3f00bb02_medium.jpg ), but I hitting this permission error :
Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /media/com_easysocial/avatars/users/2328/ed7c6b5850d342a0b69a0dce3f00bb02_medium.jpg on this server.

Can you check this few folder name is it set correct for the file permission? ( /media/com_easysocial/avatars/users/2328 )

Looking forward of your response.

The avatar issue was unrelated - image compression reset perms to root:root (OOoOOops)
I can't turn on FTP, no server installed/configured for security reasons.
Updating login credentials as well.
I will share S3 login if needed, and yes, do as you need to do - just don't set to delete from server (yet).

Unfortunately without ftp access we will not be able to assist you with this. Please provide us with the following access if you want us to troubleshoot this issue:

1. FTP access
2. Amazon AWS Control panel access

Sorry - can't compromise security for convenience.
Too bad the file manager that's installed won't work.

Thanks for understanding. Should you decide to allow us temporary access in the future, please start a new ticket and provide us with the necessary access so that I can check this for you
