Hi,

I would like to migrate posts from one easyblog (v3.9.22295) installed on one website to an other Easyblog (v 5.0.19) installed on an other website.

Thank you for your help
Hello Henri,

You can't directly migrate from EB3.9 (Site A) to EB5 (Site B). My suggestion is update Easyblog 3.9 to EB5 on site A first, then migrate all the Easyblog tables from Site A to Site B.

Hi Nick,

Ouah, it's a very radical process ! I'm surprised to see that you provide many way to import post and none to export, that's not very open...

Hey Henri,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Sure, we could perform the upgrade for you but your administration area is password protected and you did not provide us with the login credentials for this. Can you please advise?

Also, please remember to set a domain name for your license at http://stackideas.com/dashboard .

Hello Mark,

Thank you for the job, but there içs a little problem. As you can see with the screen images in attachement, before the update I had a bleu toolbar, and after the update I have a dark one, which is less beautiful. Is it possible to fix it ?

Thank yu for your help

Hey Henri,

Can you try change to bluedream theme again from backend > Easyblog > theme and see how it goes?

By the way, I can't access your backend now, because it required authenticate username and password.

I already change to bluedream, and I jest have a small problem. As you can see with the two screen shoots, now I don't see anymore the toobal and I have hte Navigation menu. I assume that I have a wrong parameter somewhere.

Hey Henri,

These icon menu is located on `Navigation menu` button, the reason why it become like this is because the Easyblog toolbar display less than width size 480px , it will show toolbar responsive mode.

I've made a mesurement of the toolbar which is 582X118 px. So it's larger than 48px, have you an other explanation ?

Hey Henri,

EasyBlog actually checks for the width of the "component area", if it's smaller than 560px, it will hide the toolbar. You can alter this behavior by editing the file /components/com_easyblog/themes/wireframe/toolbar/default.js at line 32 locate the codes below,

$('.eb-nav-collapse').responsive({at: 560, switchTo: 'nav-hide'});

hello Mark,

I'm afraid it doesn't fix the problem. I have done more tests on ipad and smartphone and the toolbar keeps the normal format. Finally, I tested changing the script and it doesn't change anything.

sorry

surprising enough, now it works fine on PC, and on smartphone in responsive mode. it seems that the logic of this option is upside down !

I'm sorry that for the confusing, actually when you turn off this option "Enable Responsive Layout", it only affect Easyblog toolbar responsive, the rest is not related this option.
