Hello,

I would like to migrate MyBlog to EasyBlog, However, installing an old MyBlog package on joomla 3.1.x is not working. I am running things on a test site, but when I change from joomla 1.5.24 tot joomla 3.1.x, I forgot to migrate myblog. However all the blogs are still in the same database, but I don't know how to alter them and link to EasyBlog.

Could you please provide me with some advice, because I have no idea how to solve this

I look forward to hear from you.

Kind regards,

Natasja
Hello Natasja Storm,

Sorry for late reply to this,
In my opinion, you can do the migration from Myblog to Easyblog 3.8version in Joomla 1.5 first, then export all the Easyblog table from Joomla 1.5 to Joomla 3.x, after that install the latest version of Easyblog in your Joomla 3.x.

If you need further assistance, can you provide us with your following details to us ?
- Joomla 1.5 backend acess
- Old database access
- Joomla 3.x backend access
- New database access
- FTP access

Hi Arlex,

Thank you for you reply. I would like your assistance on this, cause I don't think I am technical enough to do this. I try to set up an old version of joomla 1.5 and the old database and set everything up for you.

I think you need access on my server than. Cause I don't think I have access through php my admin or anything.

I will let you know. But It will take a couple of days.

Kind regards, Natasja
