Hello,
today i tried to migrate some Joomla articles, as i did in past days, but i had a problem : in the "Progress" tab i can view the loading icon, while on the "Statitics" tab nothig apperars.
The progress never stops also after I waited a lot of time.
Looking to the articles only the first 2 were imported ( even if this was not showed in Statistics ).
I tried many times with the same result.
Hey Salvatore,

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue? You may store your site access at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so you don't have to provide these information all the time

Hello,
my site is under development on a remote VPS but i have not yet configured DNS records because old site will be online for some weeks.
Actually i access the site modifying my hosts file linking the Url to the IP.

Are you disposable to temporary modify your host file ?

Isn't there another way to investigate on this problem ?

I think we can try this way, perhaps you can provide us with your current development site domain or ip address so we can try add these domain/IP address into our machine host file and see whether we can able to access?

In meanwhile, can you try watch my video http://take.ms/vVORq and see whether it did show any error in the ajax response when you try investigate this migration process.

I get 200 as status code and this is the Response : "Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /var/www/vhosts/XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.it/httpdocs/administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/connector/connector.php on line 157"

As i said It imports 2 artilces only but i am aware of this only because i look in the articles list, this does not result in Statistics.

Yes, this is the error caused that migration script unable to proceed.

Can you try download my attached file and replace into this JoomlaFolder/administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/easydiscuss/easydiscuss.php then try again the migration and see how it goes?

If everything working, I would suggest you increase your PHP max_execution_time to 300 from your PHP server (php.ini) then restart your apache server.
