I want to buy ES but I have a heavily grouped based site so if i buy it now will I be able to migrate my groups from my JS site later when ES incorporates this functionality?

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. When the groups in EasySocial is added, our migrator would support it automatically You don't really have to worry about it.

Let me get this correct if I buy ES now and migrate everything from my JS site I'll be able to migrate the groups later or do I have to wait for ES incorporates groups to switch from JS to ES? I really wanna purchase ES now while it's on sale but don't know when I can switch from JS to ES because my site has about 600 groups.
Yep, that's correct. You can migrate the rest of JomSocial over to EasySocial now but since EasySocial does not support groups yet, it's pretty pointless to migrate it now. So when EasySocial get's groups, the migrator would allow you to migrate groups over
